We go the extra mile.

Ride Connection is committed to removing barriers to transportation, and providing services that meet the unique needs of our community. In addition to our core programs, we provide the following services to help fill the gaps to transportation and mobility.

Ride Together Mileage Reimbursement

Available for older adults and people with disabilities, the Ride Together program allows riders to recruit family members, friends, or neighbors to be their drivers. Customers and drivers schedule their rides on their own schedule, and drivers are reimbursed for miles driven. This program is available in Multnomah and Washington Counties.

Shared Vehicle Program

Through our Shared Vehicle Program, Ride Connection makes sure our vehicles are used to their full potential. When vehicles are not in use for services (primarily on weekends), we offer them at no cost to individuals, agencies, or groups.

Ride Connection provides the vehicle and the necessary driver training, and you provide the driver. Our buses and vans seat up to 14 people, and no special license is required. For more information, contact Dean Orr at dorr@rideconnection.org or 503-528-1752.

Veterans Helping Veterans

This program matches volunteer drivers who are veterans, with veteran customers and their spouses who need help getting where they need to go.
