Rides can be requested by phone, and returning customers can request a ride through an online form. Once you have called and registered, we will set up an online account for you. Ride requests must be made at least 4 business days in advance. To request a ride or get registered, call: 503-226-0700 or Oregon Relay: 7-1-1. Our hours are: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm. Interpreters are available when needed!

A Ride Connection staff member will contact you at least 2 business days before the requested date to confirm or deny the ride. Unfortunately due to high demand, we are sometimes unable to fulfill requests.

Ride Connection services are primarily for older adults and people with disabilities. In rural Washington County, some services are available to the general public. Please give us a call at 503-226-0700 to find out more about what transportation options are available to you.

There is no charge for our services, but donations are greatly appreciated!

Most services are available Monday through Friday; hours, availability and days of service vary. Travel Training service hours vary greatly based on customer needs. Ride Connection’s service area covers Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties.

We go where you go! Ride Connection can take you to medical appointments, community centers, grocery stores, work, social visits, and more. We provide transportation options for any purpose.

Ride Connection uses a mix of paid and volunteer drivers to complete rides. All of our drivers go through background and DMV checks. Drivers also complete our training program, including safe driving and passenger assistance techniques, vehicle orientation, and securement training for those driving our accessible vehicles.

You can schedule your return trip at the same time you schedule your departing trip. If you’re not sure what time you’ll be done at your destination, let us know! We can work with you to create a plan when you set up your ride.

Call the Ride Connection Service Center at 503-226-0700 (TTY: 711). We will get someone to you as soon as possible.

Please call us as soon as possible to let us know. With enough notice, we are often able to give your ride to someone else in need.

Ride Connection is a private nonprofit. Much of our funding comes from federal and state grants which are administered by TriMet (via the Federal Transit Administration) and the Oregon Department of Transportation. Ride Connection also receives other private foundation grants and both corporate and individual donations. If you would like to make a donation to Ride Connection, please visit our Donate Page.

Ride Connection relies on community partners to help provide services. We work closely with organizations like Metropolitan Family Service and Impact Northwest to coordinate and provide rides.

Don’t worry! We’re available Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Just give us a call at 503-226-0700 or send an email to info@rideconnection.org.
